Pachena, Milos - Map

Pachena is located off the Adamas-Pollonia road, about 7km. from Adamas and 3 km. west of Pollonia. Buses connect Pachena to Adamas, Pollonia, and the upper villages of Milos such as Plaka and Triovasalos.

To the east of the Pachena settlement there is a small cove overlooking the areas of Papafrangas and Kapros. Pachena is also very close to the neolithic settlement of Phylakopi, where findings attest to a 5,000 year old civilization. The uninhabited Glaronisia islets are within half a mile off the coast of Pachena.
